3 things to help you move into 2021 with confidence and a clear head. ⁣

The end of year is in sight. Are you looking forward to 2021? Here are 3 things that will help you move into 2021 with confidence and a clear head. ⁣

⁣ok Taking Stock of 2020 & Making Plans for 2021⁣

Sit with your thoughts of 2020 and do a life edit. What did you accomplish professionally? Personally? Include mistakes and shortcomings that ended in lessons learned. ⁣

Here are some questions to get you started.  ⁣

What worked well this year? ⁣

What didn’t work well? ⁣

What have I learned? ⁣

What are the unknowns? ⁣

Create a photo book of 2020. I made one with Chatbooks in less than 20 min. (use my code in bio for your first free book) Collate the very best memories into a book to remember this year ( however grim). This is not a time to include every photo, just a representation of that event. Even in quarantine we’ve had great memories. Don’t forget to include Christmas of this year. Then set up a system for gathering your memories for the coming year. ⁣

Making Plans⁣

Before making any plans I take a look at my long term plans first and determine what is still accurate. Next I write down two or three things I will focus on in the new year. From there I will split everything up into mini goals. Sometimes I assign tasks for each month according to each goal. ⁣

Set up your Planner/Calendar⁣

Add in any dates that are already set. Add holidays, health appointments, school activities, job reviews, continuing education dates, car + home maintenance, and zoom calls. Don’t forget to include some self care for yourself. If you are like me, just looking at the new dates gives me a boost. ⁣

The end of the year is a great time to reflect on the year’s past, clear the cobwebs and make space for the new things to come. Let’s rock this next one!
